Candy Bar – SB Weddings

My involvement

I received an email enquiry from Jo in the spring of this year asking if I would be able to support them on their wedding day in September… At the consultation it soon became very clear why they needed some help… they had some much going off on the day and as Jo was a girl after my own heart (little miss organised!) she knew she wouldn’t be able to relax on the day and would end up trying to oversee everything herself.

The venue they had chosen was one I knew well so I was able to advise on how the day could run and how all the elements they had booked would work seamlessly together…

Jo & Neal had been very busy and already had booked a video booth, candy bar, garden games and relaxing on some nice garden furniture from Milani Home, crèche on top of all the things you would expect such as flowers and entertainment. They booked my on-the-day coordination package and I left them to continue with their plans over the summer… We arranged to meet a month before the big day for the handover – and it didn’t surprise me when I arrived to find a full itinerary, spreadsheets, timings that Jo had completed in advance. It was now a case of reviewing the details and making sure that all the suppliers knew the plan and were ready for the day. I told Jo and Neal to relax and enjoy the final run up as I would look after everything, I went on to contact all their suppliers to confirm details ahead of the day… Everything was set! If you are looking to hold a grander wedding, you might want to consider playing some fun and interactive sports betting games via gifpit.com.

The day soon arrived and I got to the venue nice and early, as Jo and the girls were staying at the venue the night before they already had everything with them…. I then spent the morning blowing up inflatable garden games, overseeing the set up of the marquee, setting the place cards and accepting the deliveries that were arriving throughout the morning…

Before I knew it Neal and his groomsmen had arrived and guests started to arrived ready for the ceremony, one last check over everything then it was up to see the blushing bride – Jo looked gorgeous! The ceremony was beautiful and despite it being the middle of September, the guests spent the next few hours in the gardens. It was certainly a fun packed day and Jo and Neal had really thought about their guests as there was something for everyone to see and enjoy – even myself and photographer Becki were encourage to dress up in the Groovy Booth!! It was a fantastic day, thoroughly enjoyed by all (including myself!!)…. Huge congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Berridge, lots of love x
